Privacy Policy

How Wuhan Nucmo Technology Co., Ltd. collects, uses and protects the personal information you submit through this website, and the rights you have over it.

Last updated: 5 November 2026 · Applies to en.nucmo.com

1. Who we are

This website (the "Site") is operated by Wuhan Nucmo Technology Co., Ltd. ("Nucmo", "we", "us"), a manufacturer of transducerized fastening tools. For the purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and comparable laws, we act as the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

Nucmo is committed to being transparent about how it handles your personal information, to protecting its privacy and security, and to meeting its data-protection obligations. Our registered address and company registration number are available on request.

2. Scope

This policy applies to personal information we collect through this English-language website, including the enquiry form on our Distributors page, and through direct correspondence that follows from it. It also explains how the Nucmo websites use cookies.

This Site is intended for business visitors outside mainland China. Our Chinese-language website is a separate service and is governed by its own privacy notice. Where a third-party platform (for example a trade-show portal or a messaging app) collects your information, that platform’s own notice applies.

3. Information we collect

We collect information about you when you contact us:

  • If you enquire about or order our products or services.
  • If we purchase products from you, or you are one of our suppliers.
  • If you voluntarily complete a customer or supplier survey.
  • Information you type into our enquiry form: your name, business email, telephone number, company name, job title, company website, country, city, the industry you serve, and your requirement.
  • Information recorded automatically when you submit a form: the page you submitted from, the timestamp, and the time taken to complete the form. The timing value is used only to distinguish automated submissions from genuine ones.
  • Technical information from your visit: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, requested URL and response status. These appear in standard server and content-delivery logs, which we use for security, fraud prevention and aggregate traffic statistics.
  • Website usage information, collected through cookies and analytics as described in section 7.

4. Why we process your information, and on what legal basis

Under the GDPR we must identify a legal basis for each purpose. Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have weighed those interests against your rights and freedoms, and you may object at any time (see section 12).

  • To respond to your enquiry and discuss product selection, quotations and distribution partnerships — necessary steps prior to entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in conducting business-to-business sales.
  • To manage our customer and supplier relationship, including orders, delivery, payment and account administration — performance of a contract.
  • To give you product recommendations and technical support matched to your industry and workstation — our legitimate interest in serving our customers.
  • To better understand how visitors interact with the Site and to assess the effectiveness of our communications — our legitimate interest in improving our services, using aggregated statistics wherever possible.
  • To operate, secure and troubleshoot the Site, including detecting automated or abusive submissions — our legitimate interest in keeping the Site available and secure.
  • To comply with tax, accounting, export-control and other legal obligations — legal obligation.

5. How we use your information

  • We contact you about your enquiry and route it to the sales and technical colleagues responsible for your region.
  • We may keep your personal information for a reasonable period for the purposes described above, and will always keep your data-protection rights in high regard when doing so. We do not collect personal data for any other purpose.
  • We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we never sell or rent it.

6. Marketing communications

We may send you information about products and services from Nucmo and its group companies that we feel may be of specific interest to you. Contact may be via telephone, post or interactive media such as email and SMS. By providing us with your address, telephone number and email address, you consent to being contacted by these methods for these purposes.

You have the right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to receive marketing information from us or our service providers, please contact our Data Protection Officer at yzhou@gudsen.com. Unsubscribe details are also clearly indicated in any email newsletter you receive from us.

7. Cookies and analytics

Cookies are text files placed on your computer, tablet or smartphone to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. This information is used to track visitor use of our websites and to compile statistical reports on website activity.

Nucmo websites are designed to function optimally with cookies enabled. Cookies record information about your online preferences and help us tailor our websites to your interests; the information they provide helps us analyse how our sites are used and improve your experience.

We use the following types of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — essential for the running of our websites. Without them, parts of the sites would not function. They do not track where you have been on our website and do not gather information about you for marketing purposes.
  • Analytical performance cookies — used to monitor the performance of our websites, for example to determine the number of page views and unique users. Web analytics services may be designed and operated by third parties. The information is anonymous (it cannot be used to identify you and does not contain your name or email address) and is used only for statistical purposes.
  • We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this Site. Links from our Site may lead to third-party sites (for example YouTube) that set their own cookies; Nucmo has no control over, or liability for, those cookies, so please check the relevant third party’s cookie policy.
  • You can set your browser not to accept cookies, and the websites below explain how to remove cookies. In a few cases some features of our websites may not function as a result. You can also browse without disclosing personal data by using your browser’s incognito mode.
  • Further information: www.allaboutcookies.org and www.youronlinechoices.eu.

8. Sharing

We share personal information only where necessary, and only with parties bound to protect it.

  • Our own sales and technical staff who handle your enquiry, including colleagues in China and at our offices and subsidiary companies around the world.
  • Our distributor network, but only where your details are required for the distributor to deal with your enquiry, aftercare or service needs. Nucmo is not responsible for distributors’ privacy policies or how they collect or treat information about their users.
  • Service providers acting on our instructions: web hosting and content delivery, email and CRM systems, and IT support. They may process information only for the purposes we specify.
  • Associates such as credit reference agencies, to fulfil our contractual obligations or prevent fraud.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting, audit) where necessary, under a duty of confidentiality.
  • Authorities, courts or regulators where we are required by law to disclose, or where disclosure is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition or transfer of assets, subject to this policy continuing to apply.

9. International transfers

We are headquartered in China and much of our engineering and sales support is carried out there. If you contact us from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, your information will therefore be transferred to and processed in China and possibly in other countries where our service providers operate — countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those in your own.

Where we make such a transfer, we rely on appropriate safeguards: Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and, where relevant, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, together with technical and organisational measures such as encryption in transit and access control. You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards, and a summary of the transfer mechanism, using the contact details in section 17.

10. How long we keep information

  • Enquiry records: kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and in any event no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless a contract or statutory retention duty requires longer.
  • Server and security logs: kept for a short operational period (typically 90 days or less), then deleted or aggregated.
  • Records we must keep for tax, accounting or export-control purposes: retained for the period required by applicable law, then deleted.
  • When a retention period ends we delete the information or irreversibly anonymise it so that it can no longer be linked to you.

11. Security

Your personal details are stored on our database systems. We maintain appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to keep the information disclosed to us secure, accurate and up to date, and to retain it only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is used.

  • We use HTTPS for all pages of this Site, restrict administrative access to named staff, keep server software patched, and limit the systems that hold enquiry data to those that need it.
  • We have implemented security policies, rules and technical measures to protect the personal data under our control from unauthorised access; improper use or disclosure; unauthorised modification; and unlawful destruction or accidental loss.
  • All our employees and data processors who have access to, and are associated with, the processing of personal data are obliged to respect the confidentiality of our visitors’ personal data.
  • No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We review these measures regularly and will notify you and the competent authority without undue delay if a breach affecting your rights occurs, as required by law.

12. Your rights

You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you and, where appropriate, to have the data erased, amended or completed. Depending on where you live you may have some or all of the following rights. We respond to requests without undue delay and at least within one month, and we do not charge for handling them unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

  • Access: obtain confirmation of whether we process your information, and a copy of it.
  • Rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected or completed.
  • Erasure: ask us to delete information we no longer have a lawful reason to keep. Please bear in mind that if you object, this may affect our ability to carry out the tasks described above for your benefit.
  • Restriction and objection: ask us to restrict processing, or object to processing based on our legitimate interests — including direct marketing, which you can stop at any time.
  • Portability: receive the information you provided in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, or have it transmitted to another controller where technically feasible.
  • Withdraw consent: where we rely on your consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
  • Complain: lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
  • California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you may request to know, delete or correct personal information, and to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing". We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
  • For numerous or complex data requests, we may extend the response time by a further two months where necessary.

13. Copyright and information on this Site

All content on this Site — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, PDFs and other documents, images, moving images and videos — is copyright Nucmo and its associated licensors unless otherwise stated. This content may be used for non-commercial purposes without our express permission, provided you include an acknowledgement to Nucmo. It must not be copied, republished or redistributed for commercial purposes without our written permission.

This permission does not extend to any material on this Site identified as the copyright of a third party; authorisation to reproduce such material must be obtained from the copyright holders concerned. All intellectual-property rights arising from the Nucmo websites and their contents belong to Nucmo and its associated licensors.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information on our websites is correct and up to date, but we cannot accept liability for any inaccuracies or omissions. Price and availability information is subject to change without notice. Nucmo does not accept liability for any loss, damage or inconvenience occurring as a result of using any of our websites. Any sale of goods or supply of services by Nucmo is subject to our standard terms and conditions of supply.

14. Links to other sites

Our Site may link to third-party websites that Nucmo does not control, for example distributors, industry organisations or video platforms. We are not responsible for their content or for their own privacy practices, and do not accept liability for your use of them. We cannot guarantee that those links will work at all times. Please review the privacy and confidentiality policy of any third-party website you visit.

15. Children

This Site is a business-to-business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

16. Changes to this policy

We keep our privacy and cookies policy under regular review and will place any updates on this web page. This policy was last updated on 5 November 2026.

We reserve the right to modify any part of our websites at any time, including disclaimers, our privacy and cookies policy, and our terms and conditions. Where a change materially affects how we use your information, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention.
